LOG 001 // 26 SEP 2026

Long time no see

Hi. It's been a while.

For the past few years I was quiet, but I wasn't idle. I spent that time learning and training myself to make entire products on my own. Writing code was the part I already knew. The hard part was everything around it: design, graphics, docs, websites, releases. Stuff that usually needs a whole team.

It took years and a lot of trial and error. Many of those trials ended up in the trash, and that's fine. Somewhere along the way I noticed that experimenting stopped being a thing I do on weekends. It's simply how I work now. I get an idea, build a small prototype, poke at it until it breaks, and then either throw it away or keep growing it. Most of the specimens in the lab started exactly like that.

The problem is, most of it never left my machine. Some crates made it to crates.io and some repos are on GitHub, but the reasoning behind them, the dead ends and the "oh, so that's why" moments stayed in my head and in old notes.

This site is my new place, and it's time to finally share all of it here. The projects, the things I learn while building them, and the experiments that fail too. Expect Rust, game dev tools, engines, and whatever I happen to be poking at that week.

That's it for now. See you soon.
